  1. Here is my take – I made sweet tea icing and used a lemon cream filling to make an Arnold Palmer cake.

  2. I used the cake as the base for the Whisk Kid Rainbow Cake – loved this cake!

  3. My post is here! http://powderedplum.blogspot.com/2011/07/white-on-white-buttermilk-cake-with.html
I’m sorry it took so long. We have a few frosting mishaps along the way. lol

  4. I made a blueberry buttermilk upside down cake with this recipe – I love how everyone had such a different take on the same recipe! Here’s my link: http://smells-like-home.com/2011/07/ppq-blueberry-buttermilk-upside-down-cake/

  5. Side note – I used this same recipe for cupcakes this weekend. I wouldn’t recommend it. The cupcakes started pulling away from the side of wrappers after they cooled. So half my cupcakes looked like someone tried to eat it…

  6. I am new to your blog and did make this cake last week and it was by far the best white cake I’ve ever had, I made it exactly as stated in the recipe with only one change, I substituted Buffalo trace Bourbon for Jack Daniels. I wasn’t able to blog it because i was having trouble getting my blog up and running.
