  3. I don’t love German Chocolate Cake so I could take or leave the custard filling, but this is def my new go-to recipe for chocolate cake–soft, moist, and full of chocolate flavor. Can’t wait to try it with a rich chocolate or cream cheese frosting!

  4. This cake was really good! I did substitute pecans for the almonds and we loved it!
