If you use your mixer for the final step, you only need 3-4 minutes of beating. I left it in for 5 and it was just a tad too long. I used honey instead of corn syrup with great results. They are *sweet* but delicious. My post will be live on Sunday: http://www.jasonandshawnda.com/foodiebride/?p=12218

Thank you Shawnda for the mixer tip. I stopped mixing around 3 1/2 minutes. I used agave syrup instead of corn syrup and they tasted great! http://sweet-morris.blogspot.com/2012/05/texas-pralines.html

I accidentally beat the heck out of mine and more or less ended up with sugar-coated pecans. Still good though. http://www.shemakesandbakes.com/1/post/2012/05/ppq-pralines.html

These are sweet (very sweet), creamy and easy. I mixed mine by hand so the pecans didn’t get broken up by the mixer, and it didn’t take long. http://creativemissy.com/?p=767
