  1. If you use your mixer for the final step, you only need 3-4 minutes of beating. I left it in for 5 and it was just a tad too long. I used honey instead of corn syrup with great results. They are *sweet* but delicious. My post will be live on Sunday:

  2. Thank you Shawnda for the mixer tip. I stopped mixing around 3 1/2 minutes. I used agave syrup instead of corn syrup and they tasted great!

  3. I accidentally beat the heck out of mine and more or less ended up with sugar-coated pecans. Still good though.

  4. These are sweet (very sweet), creamy and easy. I mixed mine by hand so the pecans didn’t get broken up by the mixer, and it didn’t take long.
