  1. I found the pie to be a bit too spiced for my liking (I think it was the cloves?) but I really liked the addition of bourbon!
Mine didn’t turn out NEARLY as gorgeous as Tara’s, but I claim innocence as I was baking this for a crowd of people in a cabin in the woods and not in my kitchen at home. No time for fanciness there 🙂

  2. We loved it! Here’s my link: http://smells-like-home.com/2011/10/ppq-bourbon-pumpkin-tart-with-streusel-topping/ Emily – Yours looks so great!! Seriously, I give you a ton of credit for even attempting to bake the tart in a cabin in the woods! And I love the leaves on top!

    • ha ha, such is my dedication to Project Pastry Queen!! I baked the upcoming Southern Comfort Apple Pie at the cabin as well (there were almost 20 people squeezed in there in sleeping bags and sharing beds, so just one pie wasn’t going to cut it) and you guys are going to LOVE IT. It was definitely the star of the night

  3. My family loved this tart but I don’t think it came out very pretty, it’s a nice alternative to pumpkin pie.

  4. I know I am really late this, week but I finally finished the post. This recipe was awesome, a total success! I loved how it tasted and I don’t really like pumpkin pie. The spices and topping really made it for me.
